What you'll do:

BASIC FUNCTION:
Carry out materials planning to production area in a clear, precise and reliable way, based on the analysis of customer requirements. Plan, control and manage the final assembly and inventories levels to comply with demand requirements. Provide requirements to supply base for meeting production schedules and follow-up on delivery and other supplier issues as needed. Carry out all activities according to Eaton's Ethics and Values.

ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:
A. Scheduling and planning material for assigned manufacturing area. Provide to MFG & Industrial Eng the volume projections for future weeks / Participate on the line rate modification.
B. Analyzing, controlling and monitoring the final assembly and material inventory levels to meet or exceed scheduling attainment goals and customer on-time delivery goal.

C. Communicating customer requirements to all applicable stakeholders.
D. Analyzes and provides necessarily follow up to the customer's requirements on short & long terms (12 weeks build plan).
E. Creating and maintaining electronic customer, planning, and supplier files in the Operating Systems
F. Creates daily and weekly final assembly schedules for the assigned manufacturing area.
G. Ensures all schedules meet customer requirements and/or planned monthly/weekly production schedules.
H Maintains all records and documents pertaining to suppliers in an organized and clear manner (Releases, Orders, Shipments, ASN's and other information as required)
I Enters and processes appropriate data into the Operating System for MPS orders, Work Orders, Supplier Releases, Shop floor packets, labels, and others as required / Analysis and follow up of the ERP Metric.
J Supports Department metrics and other key performance indicators as assigned.
K Manages inventory levels (DOH) through proper scheduling of orders in accordance with demand requirements and aligned to department goal.
L Attending training courses assigned by Human Resources Department
M Perform activities according to the Quality and Environmental politics established by the business
N Applies the Safety and Environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents.
O Promotes and applies the continuous improvement. (Apply lean manufacturing concepts & cost out projects).
P Customer Service Communication:
Planning to review & validate customer requirements between Nogales facility and corporation customer service team. Ensure that special requirements related to the recurring customer orders are flow down to production order

Qualifications:

COMPETENCES
• High School or bachelor's degree in process.
• 6 months as material planner, buyer or related.
• Moderated knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
• Computer knowledge within the Company business operating systems (preferred).
• Basic Knowledge Inventory control skills.
• English 70%
• Basic organizational and planning skills.

- Perform activities according to the Quality policies (EQS).
- Complete annual revision of functional procedures.
- Active participation in Customer and Quality System Audits.

CONTINUOS IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
- Leading Continuous Improvement activities in my area of responsibility through the deployment and utilization of Eaton Business System policies and processes, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, EQS and others as applicable.
- Active participation in Ideas Program
- Identifies cost out opportunities and work with Operational Excellence department to execute cost out projects.
- Attend training courses assigned.

MESH RESPONSIBILITY
- Perform activities according to the MESH elements, principles and methodologies to prevent accidents.
- Active participation on BBS.
- Report any activity that may put in risk my safety and environment or of my partners.
- Use of the proper EPP.
- Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash.
- Place the dangerous residues (Gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers
- Maintain area clean and free of contaminants.
- Not waste of water or electricity.
- Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment.
- Acting immediately in chemists' discharge case.
- Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
- Ensure the right storage of dangerous residues.
