Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. With a diverse team of over 700 people, representing 40+ nationalities and speaking 20+ languages, the BSC is the central hub for business services. It empowers seamless operations and drives exceptional results across our electrical, industrial, and corporate teams.
What you'll do:
The Business Analyst - Strategic projects supports the strategic project management & project finance team in terms of financial tracking, analysis and reporting of single projects as well as consolidated views across all projects in scope. The role acts as a business partner to the project managers and provides value-adding insights to ensure transparency and to achieve project targets. Also, the role supports in the overall steering of the total project portfolio, including business case preparation, project reporting, management presentation and scorecard tracking.

Plan, monitor, control and report on the strategic projects / restructuring plan progress and support the monthly report out.
General budget planning / management and business metric reporting support (incl. scorecards)
Partnering with PMs/ Work stream leads to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and appropriateness of the inputs / reports
To help identify new project opportunities (develop business models and alternative scenario plans as appropriate)
Process governance and coordination for restructuring reporting.
Drive continuous improvement actions within the functional area of responsibility or in cross-functional projects
To support and assist in preparation for project Gate Reviews
To support preparation of Management Presentations
To support the annual creation of restructuring profit plan and strategic plan
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (field of Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business management, Economic)
Min 3 years proven track record working in an FP&A or Operations Finance function
Skills:
Solid understanding and experience with US GAAP, familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley & IFRS
Leading cross business projects from finance point of view
Strong IT application & data management skills. SAP ERP experience prefered
Provide continuous and trustful financial support to project managers
The role anticipates up to 10% travel and the personal flexibility and initiative to support achievement of deadlines
Strong Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills
This role requires strong influencing skills, flexibility & agility and ability to communicate effectively at senior level
Working often in emotionally challenging circumstances the role requires both empathy and demonstration of managerial courage
