Assembler III (CNC)
Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Assembler III (CNC).
The hourly rate for this position is $18.39 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7:00 am - 3:45 pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Develop computer programs and establish tooling for N.C. machining equipment. Set-up, adjust and operate all equipment in group.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Computer-operated numerically controlled machining center, hand tools, material handling equipment, personal computer tooling and fixtures.
MATERIAL
Cutting oil, machine oil, cleaning solvents, water soluble oil, computer software.
DIRECTION OF OTHERS
Guide and instruct operators.
JOB REQURIEMENTS
Must be able to lift up to and including forty (40) pounds.
Must be able to work the hours outlined in the Labor Agreement.
WORKING PROCEDURE
The following are the usual major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent, nor the question being raised on the proper rate of pay for the assignment.
- Receive work assignment and instructions from supervisor.
- Establish required tools and fixturing to manufacture parts on N.C. machining equipment.
- Work from drawings, manufacturing information, templates, sketches, and verbal information. Interpret and edit data input tapes.
- Det up all machines including Burgmasters, computer-operated numerically controlled machining center, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Interpret diagnostic procedures and make necessary adjustments and corrections. Override computer - stored information when necessary.
- Improvise set-ups and tooling when necessary to achieve required results.
- Layout work from blueprints, sketches, or templates.
- Work with Tool Designer, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineers to develop set-ups and tooling.
- Make required operating adjustments to hydraulic and air systems on automated equipment.
- Move material as required. Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
