What you'll do:
The primary function of the job is to manage all Singapore onshore business, Vietnam, Philippines, sales team in Thailand & Malaysia and B-Line business to achieve annual sales and growth targets.
A. Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Manage the day-to-day sales activities in order to implement the organization's overall sales strategy in South East Asia.
B. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas.
C. Work closely with Product Manager to develop customer-orientated products in application and solution.
D. Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
E. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
F. Manage distributors and support them on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
G. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
f. Create a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) is required
8 years sales and marketing experience
Skills:
Prior budget and financial accountability experience
A. In-depth knowledge of electrical application, sales, marketing, management and customer relations fields
B. Strong problem solving and decision making skills
C. Strong negotiation skills
D. Strong leader, team member, organizational planning skills and strong time management skills
E. Must have exemplary customer service skills
