What you'll do:
Eaton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice at SMC in Customer Service and Technical COE. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and training in managing customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and delivering exceptional customer service. The apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals to learn the intricacies of order management and data base management. Additionally, the apprentice will assist in administrative tasks, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

- Apply learned skills and knowledge to daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Assist in the entry, modification, and tracking of customer orders in the system.
- Ensure accuracy in order details, including product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, such as incorrect pricing, product specifications, or delivery details etc.
- Generate and distribute daily redundant reports to relevant stakeholders like; BOD & EOD report, UCM Reports etc. Daily and weekly pending reports.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order management processes.
- Maintain a repository of reference documentation, ensuring easy access and organization.
- Assist SMEs & ATL in ad hoc data management tasks, such as data entry, cleaning, and validation.
- Assist SMEs & ATL in monthly log sheet collation for Performance dashboard, BSC and Individual score card.
- Support the team in digital 5S activities to maintain an organize data repository at share point and Teams.
- Actively work toward process hygiene like validating logs, databases, reference documents etc. through periodic validations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience in data entry or any back office related job is preferred but not necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Keyboard skills required - Minimum speed 35 WPM. - Attributes:
