What you'll do:
Resumo do Cargo
- Deploy Eaton's Materials Strategy (IMPACT) in South America Vehicle Group businesses to achieve Functional Excellence and act as the Materials policies guardian in the region, oversighting materials process during assessments in all sites;
- Co-lead standard Materials processes in the Region, including SIOP, Materials Planning, Customer Scheduling, Inventory Management, Shop floor Execution, Packaging and Logistics and guarantee Continuous Improvement along with Regional and sites materials leads.
- Provide direction for all materials and support functions along with the Regional Materials lead, to optimize material flow to meet and exceed customer requirements and in accordance to all Materials pillars.
- Implement world-class materials control systems and processes are an integral part of the execution of the materials strategy and processes throughout all of Eaton. Support the Regional Materials Manager and Global team to support continuous learning and help identify skills, knowledge or functional expertise vital to the success of the materials strategy.
- Accountable of Materials metrics and process execution in accordance to Eaton Policies in the Region as Gross Inventory $60M monthly average (DOH and Accuracy as well), Delivery Performance (OTD and Past due), Forecast Accuracy and ERP Health Performance.
- Organize and deploy internal and external trainings for Materials Functions
- Lead all Profit Plan Materials targets and responsible from kick off till Encore & EPM submission

What you'll do:
Responsabilidades do cargo
• Responsible for leading material strategy development & deployment, on time delivery improvement identify & implementation, Inventory reduction Identification & implementation, lean material and lead time reduction (Min-Max or Discrete) identify and implementation in MG SA.
• Leads councils in developing and executing aligned region material strategies that ensure regional customization where appropriate. Lead materials strategic & profit planning process to support VG SA business growth. Lead all materials process standardization and comply with Finance audits, Trade Compliance. Drive logistics control and cost down to meet Corp. target. Define materials team development program and provide coaching to the team.
• Define and standardize supplier-scheduling and replenishment processes including development of Min/Max Planning, Supplier Vis and VMI Consignment implementation & compliance.
• Integrate Eaton Corporation best practices into the material management structure via the Materials Council.
• Support cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Establishes optimum inventory levels to ensure on time deliveries to meet the customer's requirements while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation costs.
• As a key position on the Materials staff, this position will play an active role in the Eaton Materials Council (Local and Global). In doing so, this position will be responsible to drive and/or participate on project teams to launch standardized materials processes across the Eaton Organization.
• Develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies for Materials
• Lead materials strategic & profit planning process to support VG SA business growth. Drive business materials performance improvement through standard metrics, processes & tools.
• Serves as a "subject matter expert" and advises stakeholders on all aspects of the all material strategy, including product or material supply chain model, SIOP process, incoming raw material management, shop floor & WIP management, finished goods and logistics management, etc.
What you'll do:
• Ensures that material strategy deliverables like inventory, OTD and logistics cost are achieved on-time through applying Project Management skills, leveraging Eaton and Supplier resources, and holding a cross-functional team accountable for results.
• Launch and lead MG SA materials councils. Leverage the council and its resources to drive multiple projects with alignment of the materials strategy at sites throughout the region.
• Provide leadership to identify, develop, implement and enforce of materials process standardization, deployment and compliance vs. finance audit requirement & trade compliance and to improve the overall effectiveness of operations, including inventory reduction, lean material and lead time reduction (Min-Max or Discrete), SIOP enhancement to drive forecast improvement, Premium Freight % of Sales & MMA etc.
• Define with Regional lead, goal & objectives, providing relative training & development and using clear communication to develop whole materials team for having succession plan in key materials sub-function level.
• Manage inventory for MGSA in partnership with site materials manager, responsible to present to SA SLT on a monthly basis - stabilish appropriate controls when needed
• Develop and manage actions plans to reduce fix inventory levels ($8M avg)
• Lead Global materials strategy deployment at SA, responsible to develop and track action plans
• Lead and support (MMA/MML ) materials management assessment in region according global policy
• Drive continuous improvement in materials process in SA, consolidating projects and sharing best practices
• Work together SIOP, Logistic and GTM team to ensure profit plant achievements
• Evaluate external benchmarks and propose new processes to improve Materials area (development and controls);
• Lead projects to improve results and process standardization
• Ensure annual materials metrics deployment for SA and monthly reviews at Operations Director and Plant Managers
• Manage logistics transport performance in the region and its cost out
• Lead supplier capacity assessment in the region in order to drive bottle necks and attend SiOP cycle needs
Qualifications:
Education: Production Engineering, Business, or related area
Significant experience in Operations/Materials
Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge in Materials or BSCM
Desirable
