What you'll do:
This professional will collaborate closely with to Materials, Logistics, Sales, SCM and Finance teams. He/She will actively monitor customs broker's daily performance in order to ensure records are executed in compliant manner, and clearance and logistics are performed in the shortest lead time possible. This professional will provide training and guidance about import and export operational and compliance procedures. The role has to deal with unexpected and variable critical shipment demands, requested daily and simultaneously by 8 business units (Mobility and Electrical Sectors), and has to be able to manage priorities properly, demonstrating accountability, creativity, and sense of urgency, coordinating effectively action plans with the logistic partners. Among other activities, this position will lead performance meetings with customs broker, transportation companies and consultancies, and be responsible for the formal control and report of Non Conformity Situations as well as monitoring the efficiency of corrective action plans in place.• Collaborate closely with Materials, Logistics, Sales, SCM and Finance teams of 8 business uniutes, dealing with about thousands shipments yearly and several services providers involved in the clearance and logistics flow (Mobility and Electrical Sectors).

• Active communication and pro-active attitude about opportunities and risks to the operations are required.
• Provide training and guidance related to regular import and export process and compliance standards to Eaton operational teams.
• Support Materials and SCM teams in the discussions with suppliers to ensure import documentation will comply with brazilian government requirements.
• Follow-up broker's daily work and priority shipments, eventually during weekends and/or evening. Coordinate creative and efective action plans with the logistic partners to ensure goods will be released and delivered in the shortest lead time possible.
• Develop procedures and monitoring strategies to ensure compliance in all import and export transactions, maintaining regular updates for over 10,000 part numbers in the government master data (Product Catalog - Single Window);
• Conduct monthly performance meetings with service providers, actively monitoring key performance indicators and the progress of corrective or continuous improvement action plans;
• Support implementation of new service providers when necessary, defining SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements);
• Update Landed Cost Dashboard for imports, sharing indicators and risks to the leadership.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives for lead time improvement and inneficiency costs reduction.
• Register Non-Conformity Reports to broker and logistic partners and monitor the efficiency of corrective action plans in place.

Qualifications
Mandatory
- Degree in Foreign Trade, Economics, Administration and related areas
- Experience with foreign trade or materials planning (contact with foreign trade)
- Import and export operational procedures and legal requirements
- Incoterms, tax classification, Certificates of Origin (declarations of origin), NPI
- International logistics
- Excel (pivot table, data analysis, procx, procv, soma.se)
- Intermediate English (reading and writing frequently and verbal communication monthly)
