Analyst (performance)

As a Performance Analyst, you’ll work with some of the largest sites on the web across major industries (retail, auto, finance, travel, etc.) and help them answer questions about site performance and user engagement, helping to drive improved customer experience for their customers and improve their business. Dynatrace’s tools generate mountains of data, a lot of which customers don’t know how to make use of…that’s where you come in. You will turn that mountain of data into invaluable insight.

As someone who lives and breathes data, analysis and problem solving, you will help your customers understand the right performance data, in the right context and turn that data into business altering insight which enables your customer to take the right action to improve overall site performance and user experience that maximizes business outcomes. You will help customers set a strategy for how they can optimize both their current performance and build performance into their culture

Key responsibilities:

  • Account management for 8+ ongoing customers
  • Manage relationship with support and innovation to effectively support customer needs and requests
  • Manage customer expectations by leveraging internal teams
  • Work as an extension of your client’s team, assisting in ad hoc analysis or testing
  • Basic engagement in monitoring strategy for leveraging DEM tools
  • Create detailed analysis deliverables (monthly) for your customers
  • Work as the project manager for everything DEM - issues, value events, usage
  • Act as the liaison between customer and the rest of Dynatrace for DEM-centric issues
  • Run customer touchpoint meetings and analysis delivery
  • Work with your squad to improve process, identify training gaps, collaboration of ideas

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate analysis expertise: ability to leverage portal, tableau and outside tools for purposes of deliverables
  • Intermediate tableau expertise: trend, synthetic and RUM workbooks for purposes of deliverable
  • Intermediate DT portal expertise: USQL, API knowledge, Dashboarding, Application Configuration (detection rules, basic naming rules, user tagging, best practices, error detection, and common session/action properties)
  • Basic understanding of outside tools to enhance deliverables or understand data (Chrome Dev and webpage test)
  • Basic project management to drive clients and solutions to completion

Other desirable skills:

  • Ability to stay on track and motivate both internal Dynatrace resources and customer contacts to complete tasks
  • Ability to manage key relationships within each organization
  • Basic conflict resolution and ability to bridge client expectations with product solutions
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally and written and oral
