The Impact you will have in this role:

The Tribe Lead formulates the Tribe vision, mission, and strategy and guides the Tribe in defining and achieving the Tribe's Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The lead has a high degree of autonomy and accountability to achieve the Tribe objectives and has a deep knowledge of business, the mission, and operational aspects of the Tribe, as well as well-honed leadership skills.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own the formulation and refinement of the Tribe strategy and mission as well as objectives and key results in partnership with the Tribe leadership.
  • Synchronize the Tribe vision with Product Owners in squads.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop and maintain the delivery roadmap and consult with the technology partner on the product architecture and to define tribe-level priorities for the squads to deliver on Tribe and squad objectives and key results.
  • Partner with product management to deliver product initiatives that align with best practice standards in consistent delivery, continuous improvement, and high-quality solutions for our clients.
  • Coordinate ingoing and outgoing dependencies with other Tribe Leads and key partners and remove roadblocks for the squads.
  • Maintain accountability for ensuring initiatives are completed on time and budget to achieve business case outcomes.
  • Foster a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk.
  • Provide effective leadership to the squads which includes resources from product, application development, and testing; includes significant culture and talent development, management of performance across geographically dispersed teams, support for diversity & inclusion, and building bench strength.
  • Drive innovation and change: champion initiatives that evolve the business' offerings, approaches and infrastructure in ways that address or capitalize on shifts in the regulatory, competitive, and economic landscapes
  • Build capabilities of squad members to ensure squads are self-sufficient, creating an atmosphere of confidence and trust in the Tribe, and motivating coach Tribe members to deliver the Tribe's mission.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.


Talents Needed for Success:
  • Deep experience in financial technology as a vendor or a large financial institution with post-trade lifecycle expertise.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends and client needs, ability to develop a value proposition for the client and a vision for the Tribe.
  • Knowledge / Experience with modern technology solutions/IT.
  • Skilled influencer and navigator in the organization - prior experience is driving big picture thinking and connecting the dots.
  • Excellent collaborator leadership skills, ability to interface throughout diverse areas of a large enterprise, operate with challenging assumptions.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
