The impact you will have in this role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Actions Consultant to lead the design and implementation of a blockchain-based automation framework for corporate actions. This role is ideal for someone with deep domain expertise in corporate actions across asset classes and markets, and can collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex financial processes into smart contract-driven systems. In addition, the Corporate Actions IC Senior Associate will play a critical role in guiding the project from concept to production, helping define requirements, workflows, and validation criteria for automating corporate actions using decentralized technologies.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on corporate actions, including dividends, splits, mergers, tender offers, redemptions, and other event types
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to design smart contract-based workflows for automating corporate actions
  • Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation efforts to ensure accurate and complete system design
  • Provide guidance on data models, event triggers, and compliance considerations for blockchain-based automation
  • Review and validate smart contract logic and system behavior against industry standards and operational best practices
  • Support testing and QA efforts by defining test cases and expected outcomes for corporate action scenarios
  • Advise on integration with custodians, CSDs, fund administrators, and other financial infrastructure providers
  • Stay current with regulatory developments and market practices related to corporate actions and digital assets
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate actions operations, consulting, or systems design
  • Deep understanding of corporate actions across equities, fixed income, and structured products
  • Experience working with financial institutions, custodians, or market infrastructure providers
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, with experience in process design and requirements gathering
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies and smart contract concepts
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment


Talents Needed for Success:
  • Experience designing or implementing corporate actions systems or automation platforms
  • Familiarity with smart contract platforms such as Ethereum and Hyperledger Besu
  • Understanding of tokenized securities and digital asset lifecycle events
  • Experience with standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging, or XBRL
  • Prior involvement in blockchain-based financial infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of DTCC processes or similar post-trade ecosystems
