The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Enterprise Automation Team, the Senior Analyst will be the central point of contact between the automation configuration team and business process SMEs. This team works with the business units to gather and refine existing process documentation and conduct reviews with process SMEs to evaluate, prioritize, and build a roadmap for future process automation. In addition, the Business Analysis Senior Analyst will work closely with other areas of Business Architecture to identify areas for process optimization and re-engineering.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the central point of contact between automation configuration team and business process SMEs
  • Gather and review existing process documentation with process SMEs
  • Analyze and clearly document business process requirements for the automation build including exception handling scenarios and process metrics such as volumes, SLAs, and cycle times
  • Work with business process SMEs to identify potential reengineering opportunities to streamline the use of automation (e.g., use of an application interface vs. a user screen)
  • Work with configuration analysts in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
  • Document operational run books that describe the steps of the automated process and exception scenarios
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and support remediation of production defects
  • Record and communicate defects identified by the business in user acceptance testing
  • Deliver training to the business process SMEs and their teams on performing the new process using automation
  • Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience


Talents Needed For Success:
  • Experience with business/system analysis and requirements documentation
  • Experience/knowledge of JIRA and ability to organize business and functional requirements into EPIC, stories and maintain product backlog
  • Ability to describe non-technical details to a technical audience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
  • Awareness of automation design and development considerations including Agile methodologies
  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
  • Awareness about projects with API development, data migration, integration with external systems
