About the Role
The DoorDash People Technology team is looking for a Solutions Architect, Workforce Management with demonstrated experience and knowledge in system design and strategy for labor forecasting, scheduling, and timekeeping for a global organization. As a Solutions Architect, Workforce Management you will interact directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across DoorDash to capture requirements while designing lasting solutions with People Technology. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable workforce management architectures for our People organization. As part of a solution architecture team, you will lead the end-to-end design of scalable, integrated solutions that align with business needs, technology standards, and long-term strategic goals.

- Drive strategic architectural decisions for a high-impact workforce transformation initiative
- Design end-to-end solutions across multiple global organizations at DoorDash that address labor demand forecasting, scheduling, timekeeping, and absence management.
- Align architectural decisions with broader enterprise strategy and secure executive sponsorship and stakeholder alignment across business units.
- Solve real-world workforce challenges like demand forecasting and scheduling accuracy with existing tools.
- Shape scalable, future-ready solutions that reduce operational complexity and enhance workforce agility.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Lead global tool selection review and design of workforce management solution
- Create solutions that drive recognized value faster for business partners
- Provides guidance and subject matter expertise on workforce management tools and reporting capabilities and limitations.
- Time & Labor subject matter expert solving complex problems, while keeping compliance top of mind.
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support system troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of assigned applications to meet requirements, timelines, and execution standards.
- Identify risks, trade-offs, and opportunities for optimization throughout the vendor evaluation and implementation phases.
- Ability to design new solutions based on business strategy and outcomes.
We're excited about you because...
- You have 5-7 years of work experience in workforce management solutions (e.g. Quinyx, Assembled, Workday) implementation/configuration, both domestic and international.
- Extensive experience cross delivering on one or more of the following Workday HCM modules: Core HCM, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Reporting
- Experience as a lead consultant on system implementations
- Experience with roadmaps across global organizations.
- Background working with business-critical systems and managing change in operational environments.
- Quinyx developer (plus)
- You are a self-motivated and rapid learner
- You are outcomes-oriented, always evaluating whether our team's activities are achieving the desired, measurable impact, and continuously iterating to ensure the best solution
- You are an owner, always looking for opportunities to learn and better your work product
- You are comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, continually changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- You have an analytical mindset and a "People First" mentality with demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using data and creating configuration solutions based on that data
- You have strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
