About the Role
As the Senior Design Program Manager at DoorDash, you will drive innovation and excellence through our Design systems. You will collaborate with visionary product designers and design systems experts to improve usability across our diverse DoorDash ecosystem, helping Consumers, Merchants, Dashers, and our Internal Tools. You will report to the Sr. Design Director of the Design Foundations organization and you will work in a hybrid environment, integrating onsite and remote collaboration. You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
- Lead end-to-end roadmap planning, strategy, and execution of design programs that impact our Design Systems and ensure the success of Consumers, Merchants, Dashers, and our Internal Tools across Design and Engineering
- Partner with designers on strategic projects, like improving internal platforms, tools ,net new features and redesigns, and improve their designs with operational rigor and deep systems thinking
- Work with design, engineering, and analytics to systematically prevent craft issues and improve design quality and usability for our users
- Manage all of agency partnerships and procurement process across creative projects that evolve the visual design language of the apps, extending the DoorDash brand
- Identify opportunities to maximize the efficiency of Design at DoorDash and allow our teams to ship products fast
We're excited about you because...
- You have 5+ years of experience with a solid portfolio of work showing how you've developed 0>1 programs that enable craft at scale and you have experience leading new initiatives across Design teams
- You have strong design acumen and advanced knowledge of both the design and technical aspects of a design system
- You are an excellent communicator and thoughtful cross-functional partner, and can articulate complex topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- You are scrappy and resourceful. You love tools, creative problem solving, and aren't afraid to try new things to create the future.
Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
