About the Team
DoorDash's New Business Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars - DashMart, our grocery delivery offering. We're building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. DashMart's goal is to provide fresh, high quality, and local groceries to customer doorsteps, wherever that doorstep may be! The Strategic Real Estate team is responsible for identifying new locations for DashMart and optimizing our current DashMart real estate footprint.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Associate across our DashMart Strategy & Operations organization. You will be responsible for assessing DashMart's real estate footprint in each market we serve, conducting related analysis (e.g. market evaluation, analyzing tradeoffs, making recommendations), and working with internal and external stakeholders. This means everything from defining high-level strategy to understanding nitty-gritty operational details. From first principles, you'll help develop the optimal approach to best serve our customers in all markets across the country. In this role, you will report to the Associate Manager of the Real Estate Search & Launch team in our New Business Verticals organization. We expect this role to be remote, with an opportunity for Hybrid work.

- You have 2-4+ years of experience. You've succeeded at expanding businesses (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, supply chain, retail or a related experience).
- You have completed your BS/BA Degree.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
