About the Role
We're looking for a self-starter who is curious, data-driven, and unafraid to roll up their sleeves to drive impact. As a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, you'll join a fast-moving team that thrives on solving complex problems, thinks deeply about the customer journey, and partners cross-functionally to bring ideas to life with speed and precision.
In this role, you'll be directly responsible for managing and optimizing the in-app customer experience for our DoorDash Canada business. You'll play a critical part in driving customer growth and retention by shaping end-to-end experiences, supporting high-impact campaigns, and leading analytical deep dives to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. We value resourcefulness over perfection, and you'll be expected to leverage data creatively and scrappily to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across product, marketing, and operations, and your success will be measured by your ability to help set and deliver on clear, data-backed goals tied to customer outcomes and marketplace performance.
This role sits within the Customer Strategy & Operations team and reports to the Consumer Experience S&O Manager.
What You'll Do
- Build - You will plan, develop, and launch innovative experiences, bringing ideas to life from concept to execution, such as launching a new product feature in-app.
- Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence using consumer-first thinking. You'll identify emerging trends, determine when to scale, and know when it is time to pivot. Take inspiration from real-life use cases to reflect our consumers' needs and wants.
- Experiment - Own and operationalize data-driven experiments across everything from promotional campaigns to net new in-app creative assets, optimizing for what resonates with our consumers. Such as owning the end-to-end launch of a new asset on our homepage, including building, monitoring, and measuring impact.
- Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your initiatives, using insights to iterate. You'll be expected to self-serve the data required, empowering you to dive deep into performance metrics and continuously identify new opportunities to enhance the consumer experience.
- Collaborate - Partner with a variety of teams across Marketing, Product, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to execute on plans. Launching in-app merchandising for campaigns backed by media and CRM.
About You
- You thrive both as a generalist and specialist who can build the overarching strategy and dive deep into specific issues & processes to drive continuous improvement
- You are a self-starter who is biased towards action and excels in a fast-paced environment and evolving business
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, finance, and legal
- You are a problem solver and can identify the core problem and determine hypotheses with proposed solutions
- You are comfortable using SQL to analyze data and create new data tables, can build dashboards to track key metrics, and can build high-level financial models
- You have 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, digital marketing, growth, investment banking, consulting or other related areas
Nice to Haves
- You have product operations experience
- You have experience using Figma to develop creative assets
- You have experience using Tableau and Sigma
- Professional proficiency in French
