About the Team
The IT Enterprise Applications Engineering team manages and builds back-office applications, middleware, and integrations (HR, Finance, process automation, system integration). This team partners closely with our HR and Finance teams to build the systems that enable business processes.
We move fast and have audacious goals, scaling to meet the demands of a global enterprise that has grown multiple folds.
About the Role
In this role, you'll lead a small team of finance BSAs that build and maintain the back-end and automations for Finance systems plus support Finance systems on a daily basis (Coupa, Zip, BREX, IntelAgree, High Radius, IBM TM1, etc.).

You'll be the thought leader who partners with our Finance leaders from Procure to Pay, Sourcing and Accounting to build a shared technology roadmap, architects key system components, ensures the sustainability, scalability, and quality of our engineering efforts, and coaches and mentors the next generation of Finance BSAs.
You will report to the Leader of our IT Enterprise App Engineering team.

- Build the foundation for scale in all of our Finance technologies and develop the process and people necessary to ensure we can sustain excellence
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to streamline Finance processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance decision-making
- Build strong relationships with our IT stakeholders by anticipating their needs and delivering before they ask
- Continuously improve IT customer satisfaction by building a deep understanding of our customers' experience and executing a support strategy that exceeds their expectations
- Establish clear, measurable expectations for your team and provide the tools and the environment they need to meet those expectations
- Utilize automation and process optimization to deliver 10x results with 2x investment, building scalability and flexibility into Finance technology engineering
- Commit to inclusion both within your team and across functions, leading by example and ensuring everyone has a seat at the table and all voices are heard
- Leverage Agile Principles to Plan, Manage and Execute sprints for various cross functional projects.
- Sound understanding of Finance systems Architecture, propose best design practices and solutions.
- Work closely with the Internal Audit, AP, Procurement team and other teams for quarterly SOX Audits.
We're excited about you because...
- You have 7+ years experience in Finance systems with 2+ years managing engineering teams
- You have deep experience with Finance systems and integrations across all common systems (Coupa, BREX, Zip, High Radius, IBM TM1, etc.)
- You have experience with supporting Direct/Indirect Procurement, AP, AR, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, other.. processes and teams and a strong perspective on Build vs Buy.
- Experience with ERP finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing and Budgets
- You're capable of getting your hands dirty if needed, and you can move from a code review to an executive presentation seamlessly
- You've managed a remote workforce
- You bring a modern mindset, with hands-on experience applying AI/ML in finance system workflows or are excited to drive these innovations forward

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$137,400-$202,000 USD
