System Software Engineer Intern

Summary:

You will become familiar with Dolby technologies in consumer entertainment devices. You will contribute to improving quality of software that enables next generation of Dolby technologies at home (e.g.: Dolby Atmos FlexConnect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp0CffybBo4 ).

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain development materials which are going to be integrated by professional A/V processing equipment providers
  • Create and adapt existing test automation scripts.
  • Analyze test results to ensure that the product functions per requirements.
  • Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain audio and software test labs and test environments.
  • Make significant contributions to the development and deployment of new test technologies, tools or methods.
Qualifications and personal skills:
  • Studies in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, Maths, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Good English spoken and written communication skills.
  • Interest in audio field.
  • Programming knowledge would be a plus.
Eligibility: Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
