In the internship role, you will become familiar with Dolby technologies in consumer entertainment devices. You will be a member of a highly specialized team responsible for porting and optimizing Dolby audio technologies to embedded platforms (e.g., ARM, DSPs). You will contribute to optimization and porting efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Porting of state-of-the-art Dolby audio technologies from reference C code to embedded platforms,
- Performance benchmarking and functional verification of optimized code, Performance bottlenecks analysis,
- Performance measurement automation (Python),
- Code optimizations with use of SIMD instructions (vectorization).
- Interest in writing efficient code and performance tweaking,
- Low level C programming under Linux environment,
- Basic Python skills,
- Good command of English.
- Familiarity with signal processing algorithms.
