For this high functioning team, the nature of the work benefits from frequent in-office presence, and employees may be expected to work from a company office up to four days per week. The Legal Department provides core legal support to all Dolby functions, runs several IP-centric businesses, and leads government relations.

Dolby's Intellectual Property Protection & Enforcement (IPPE) group is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Intelligence Analyst. The successful candidate will transform complex, multi-source information into actionable intelligence, focusing on research, brand protection, investigations, and IP enforcement. We are looking for someone who is not only comfortable navigating large volumes of data and eager to integrate machine learning and AI tools into their workflow, but who also deeply values incorporating old-fashioned human intelligence. The role is highly collaborative, with close touch points globally across a wide range of internal teams and external partners. The position is based in our San Francisco headquarters and reports to the Director, IP Protection and Enforcement Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep research on suspect products, listings, and entities using traditional and AI-enhanced tools
- Perform risk reviews for licensing requests, identifying potential concerns or red flags.
- Gather and analyze intelligence from diverse sources, documenting findings thoroughly.
- Execute online enforcement actions and support brand protection initiatives.
- Continuously integrate machine learning and AI tools into workflows.
- Support additional team projects and initiatives as required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; field of study is open.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills exhibited in dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative settings.
- Able to work effectively across cultures and regions.
- Thrives in ambiguous environments and embraces the unknown
- Familiarity with intellectual property concepts is a plus.
