The Marketing Analytics team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our core marketing measurement and experimentation needs. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with Hulu Marketing, external partners (Google, Meta, etc.), and Data Science teams. Their focus will be on developing best measurement practices and key business insights to propel Hulu’s growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of each step in the consumer marketing journey, digital and linear media landscapes, and a passion for streaming.
Responsibilities
Create, deliver and continuously improve our business measurement solutions, with a focus on experimentation, helping design and execute incrementality tests with media partners (Google, Meta, Snap, etc.) as well as support landing page and sign-up flow testing.

Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities for future growth and operational efficiencies
Use internal and external analytics tools, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze multivariate data; a bonus if familiar with causal inference packages
Analyze and report key data quality health KPIs through regular metric monitoring and revise dynamically as datasets and critical systems expand
Analyze subscriber behavioral data to identify patterns and communicate a common understanding of how people are interacting with the platform and content
Build easy to understand presentations, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualizations that create a data-driven narrative for Strategic Planning and Marketing stakeholders
Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to inform and support business, product and marketing decisions
Basic Qualifications
BA or BS in Business, Math/Statistics, Economics, CS, Engineering, or related
5+ years of hands-on analytical work experience with SQL
Expertise manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends and leveraging disparate data sources and tools
Experience with creating, executing, and analyzing AB/multivariate test constructs in order to test stakeholder hypotheses
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations, ability to prioritize different objectives in a dynamic environment
Strong experience in documenting the data requirements, data strategy, data rules (standardization, cleanse, and validation) of any initiative, with an ability to troubleshoot issues and offer remedies
Strong communication skills to explain data trends and anomalies, develop data visualizations and reporting to drive key messaging and recommendations using tools such as Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based service
Experience in the technology industry, knowledge of data products
Experience writing, managing and deploying Python code
Familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Databricks, Datorama, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, Tableau, Airtable

The hiring range for this position in Nw York is $120,300 - $161,300 per year and in Los Angeles is $114,900 - $154,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
