We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!

This role sits in the Disney Signature Experiences organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. This role will serve as a key member of the product team supporting Storyliving by Disney.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management, Emerging Businesses your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding a team of product managers responsible for defining the product strategy, creating outcome based roadmaps and developing requirements.
  • Building positive relationships with and leading large and diverse groups of collaborators at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise.
  • Leading external vendor teams to deliver products.
  • Providing product and scorecard updates to business and technology leadership.
  • Negotiating through blockers.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with technology and business leaders to establish commercial strategies using technology to drive the business.
  • Serving as part of squad on larger projects, assisting with their successful completion.

It is key for this role to have a holistic understanding of how to use product management models and technology to create an exceptional guest experience, support business operations and optimize Cast in a financially constrained and rapidly changing environment.

What you will do:

  • Ability to partner with diverse and cross-functional teams in a meaningful way to produce quality results.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategy development and day-to-day opertions aligning with business priorities bringing the concepts to reality.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and proven experience driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and mediums.
  • Understanding of the latest product management frameworks and theories and how to apply them to create impactful experiences.
  • A understanding of current Disney Experience capabilities as it relates to converging technology seamlessly into the Guest experience.
  • Out of the box thinking, ability to broker creative solutions with internal and external teams to overcome roadblocks and move projects forward.
  • Creates data driven strategies by staying abrest of the latest business and market trends while also monitoring guest behavior through analytics and consumer testing to track against KPI’s.
  • Partner with and guide Product Managers and technical teams to define and deliver against guest and business needs.
  • Serve as a business facing contact for cross-functional partners on the Storyliving by Disney business.
  • Collaborate with other Disney Experiences Tech & Digital teams to ensure alignment with product standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends to find strategic opportunities to use innovation to solve business problems.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years combined business and digital experience with 2+ years in a product management position
  • Ability to set a clear vision and drive accountability to meet their goals.
  • Served as the lead on small to medium digital and technology projects, including evaluating and improving estimates, scope, and plans.
  • Experience with technical, user and business issues in a digital organization.
  • Identify and articulate the impact of the latest industry trends on our business.
  • Work collaboratively across large matrixed organizations.
  • Experience collaborating with and achieve applicable results through others and the capability to interact within all levels.
  • Ability to mentor, educate, and handle conflict management/negotiations.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience evaluating emerging technology solutions and companies for fit and viability against use cases.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast paced environment.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Working knowledge of markets, products, and competitive landscape (including ability to predict and explain current/future trends), and the ability to translate (both verbally and in writing) technologies into business value.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
