Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH is looking for an experienced and detail oriented Sr. Supply Planner to join our amazing team at DISH Retail Wireless Product team! The Sr. Supply Planner will develop and execute our supply plan, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless availability of devices for our cutting-edge 5G network, determining priorities and implementing strategies to reduce out-of-stock and over-stock issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced work related to variety of planning assignments
  • Collaborate with various customers to gather demand plans, strategically shaping supply plans for assigned Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Utilize advanced supply chain software and address deviations in its operation
  • Ensure optimal levels of inventory by monitoring stock levels, shipments receipts, replenishment lead times, and provides relevant information that may affect the planning and/or forecasting
  • Diagnose constrained supply chain challenges, identify their root causes (e.g., material, capacity, or logistic constraints), and put forth actionable recommendations to address these constraints
  • Understand, evaluate, and represent the supply chain network through both graphical and data-driven models, spanning from suppliers to customers
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and commit to solving any supply issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in new device integration and address inventory supply challenges
  • Perform special projects, research, analysis, and presentations at behest of senior DISH leadership
  • Perform channel inventory allocations in a timely manner
  • Provide informed weekly purchase recommendations across channels while meeting inventory targets
  • Monitor open purchase orders and purchase requisitions in process
  • Perform weekly prepayment plan to ensure timely shipments deliveries
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor supply plans
  • Champion the weekly Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) process, owning accuracy, outputs, and transparent communication to all stakeholders
  • Maintain good relationship with OEMs for mutual collaboration
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • A master's degree from a reputable four-year college or university is preferred, coupled with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered
  • Experience working with advanced supply planning software
To excel as a Sr. Supply Planner, the following attributes are vital:
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, showcasing your ability to manipulate data with precision and glean insightful information
  • Sharp analytical prowess, adept at problem-solving and critical thinking, enabling you to address complex challenges
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and continuous improvement skills
  • Familiarity with Supply and Demand planning systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, o9, and Anaplan, is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills to gather insights from complex data sets that contribute to making informed decisions
  • Effective communication skills, allowing seamless interaction across all echelons of the organization
  • A knack for uncovering insights and translating data into actionable strategies for business enhancement

  • An ability to be located in Denver, as an in-office presence is mandatory to foster collaboration and engagement

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
