Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in designing and engineering network systems for our 5G network. You'll contribute to evaluating, testing, selecting, and deploying foundational network elements nationwide. Additionally, you'll provide advanced technical leadership for complex projects, including upgrades to critical network devices and strategic network enhancements.
In this role, you will:
- Communicate engineering solutions through detailed diagrams.
- Implement Agile methodology for software development.
- Architect and develop software automation tools.
- Guide the team on best software development practices.
- Collaborate with teams to innovate and drive new features forward.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
As an ideal Senior Network Engineer, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environments.
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent are advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, BPA, NSO, REST, Bash, and Server virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack).
- Public cloud certifications in advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent are beneficial.

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
