Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inventory Control:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses
  • Ensure proper rotation of stock to minimize obsolescence
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
• Receiving and Shipping:
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects
  • Unload, unpack, and store incoming items in designated locations
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling
  • Process shipping documentation and ensure accuracy
• Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Assist in organizing and storing inventory to optimize space utilization
  • Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory items
  • Participate in warehouse cleaning and maintenance activities
• Data Entry and Reporting:
  • Enter inventory data into the inventory management system
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues
• Other Duties:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (if applicable and certified)
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
