Senior Web Growth Marketing Manager

As the Senior Web Growth Marketing Manager, you will join a vibrant and diverse Web team in the Revenue Marketing org that is focused on delivering revenue through the website, online funnels, SEO, and growth experimentation. The team is highly analytical and data driven, yet deeply customer-focused. You will lead conversion rate optimization projects for our online surfaces and make strategic decisions that drive revenue growth from those surfaces.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive website growth strategies, with a focus on SEO, SEM landing page optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to optimize the user experience across all touchpoints, from visitor to paying customer.
  • Analyze website traffic data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and implement A/B testing to optimize conversion rates at all stages of the funnel (acquisition, activation, retention, referral).
  • Collaborate with the search engine marketing (SEM) campaign team to optimize landing pages and CRO.
  • Collaborate with the SEO strategy team for the DigitalOcean website, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and technical SEO, to identify key user flows and optimize to conversion.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web marketing trends and best practices, and implement these insights into your strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment with product-led growth and product-led sales initiatives.
  • Measure and report on the success of all marketing initiatives, demonstrating the impact on website traffic, leads generated, and ultimately, new revenue growth.

What We’ll Expect From You:

  • 3-5+ years minimum, of job related experience managing website CRO in a high growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related fields of Marketing or Advertising
  • Demonstrated experience in the Cloud industry
  • Marketing operations experience with best-in-class marketing tools 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth at scale
  • Experience leading or collaborating in an agile growth process that is focused on experimentation and testing
  • Ability to generate reports on key performance metrics and clearly communicate the results
  • Proactive communication skills and track record of setting and executing on monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Deep understanding of SaaS based business models, including concepts around monthly recurring revenue and pay-back periods
  • Demonstrable critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability and confidence to make strategic decisions based on data

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $135,000-$165,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
