What about the role?
We're looking for a Senior Quality Specialist to join our team at the Bilecik Plant.
This is a 12-month temporary position based in our Bilecik Plant, ideal for experienced professionals looking to contribute to a high-performing quality team within a defined time frame.
This role reports directly to the Head of Quality and plays a critical part in building a bridge from raw materials to the final product through Diageo Türkiye's Quality Standards.
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production or product issues, and recommending solutions.
What you will be doing
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and maintain Food Safety and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments and ensure they are regularly updated.
- Coordinate and perform periodic internal audits and ensure HACCP and GMP practices are applied.
- Lead the Food Safety team, analyze findings, and implement preventive measures.
- Stay up to date on legal regulations and standards relevant to the role.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects on quality and food safety.
- Monitor daily quality activities, follow up on non-conformances, and manage the pest control program.
- Deliver training related to laboratory and quality standards.
- Track and manage consumer complaints; lead root cause analysis and action planning for improvement.
- Drive and promote a strong food safety culture across the plant.
- Prepare and follow up on KPIs and lead ongoing quality projects.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Food Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector
- Understanding of production and plant dynamics in FMCG
- Good command of English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Result-oriented and highly resilient
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Creative and effective presentation abilities
- Agile team player
