About the Customer Marketing Team

To enhance the Diageo's customer engagement and commercial success, the customer marketing team needs to bridge between the various commercial functions to support the overall planning, design creative customer activation programmes and their execution.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for overall trade activation strategies, plans and executions for their responsive channels. The role also requires adapting the consumer marketing plans to the needs of trade sectors and specific key customers, and be entrusted with the responsibility to breakthrough customer marketing activities and strategies/plans to accelerate the delivery of category growth and grows brand.

Major Accountability
  • Channel Activation Strategy - Be accountable for trade/channel strategy and their delivery, and to ensure the customer insights and deliverables are understood by key stakeholder and team member
  • Customer Marketing Execution - Fulfill channel needs and develop programs to shift shopper purchase behaviour change based on shopper insights to grow categories/deliver business results
  • Cross-Parties Cooperation - Be part of demand planning member and develop channel cycle planning to ensure the delivery and manage the external agencies' performance against the budget.
  • Deliver Brand Objectives - Support brand managed to deliver the brand communication and Innovation and have external agencies comply with it.


Leadership Dimension
  • Achieve business objectives with team and to keep inspiring and influencing team to help pioneer through leadership and a break-through in Customer Marketing for our world class brands
  • Collaborate with customers to jointly develop and implement winning programmes, and to drive brilliant execution and evaluation of activities proving the value to the business of CM
  • Collaborate within customer marketing, sales, marketing teams to represent a one team approach, and to provide coaching across all team members as we work as a tight team driving significant change and impact across the organization


Our Expectation
  • Strong consumer or category marketing capabilities essential with sales/marketing/customer marketing related experience, cross-function experience is appreciated.
  • Masterful at creating alignment across internal team, our consumer, shopper, customer, trade and channel agenda
  • Understand what it means and is experienced in all aspects of great people management
