About the role

At Diageo, our brands don't just sit on shelves - they live in culture, shape moments of celebration, and connect with millions of consumers around the world. We're now looking for a Senior Brand Manager who can bring energy, creativity, and commercial acumen to some of the world's most iconic brands.

As a Senior Brand Manager in Diageo Ireland, you will shape and deliver breakthrough brand plans, delivering outstanding creativity across all touchpoints and delivering on ambitious growth plans. Bringing a deep understanding of consumer, customer and shopper insights, you will bring plans to life in a magnetic way from point of sale to above the line!

About you

  • 6+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Successful management of senior partners, resulting in strong and positive outcomes
  • Holistic skills across various marketing growth drivers as well as a track record of delivering transformational business results
  • Comfort with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment
  • A history of working across media, digital, social & DDM, experiential, PR, culture & trade marketing
  • Demonstrated brilliant execution to high standards across various pillars of brand building
  • Deep personal accountability for great performance
  • Strong commercial and numerical competence with attention to detail Experience working across multiple countries/geographies

In this role you will be:
Leading:
  • The digital & media point of contact for the brand. Leading our social strategy and working closely with our media and content agencies to ensure our brands are properly set up to create seamless omnichannel experiences.
  • Projects that require significant levels of in market creative development and/or collaboration with external/internal partners to resonate with Irish consumers
  • Inspiring & leading cross functional & inter-agency teams to develop breakthrough brand insights and harnessing those to deliver award winning consumer & customer execution
  • A ‘never settle' attitude, especially when it comes to creating brilliant brand experiences for our consumers
  • Delivery of all project critical metrics as defined to successful outcome


Supporting:
  • Shape-the-future create projects by leading the brilliant execution of plans, engaging and orchestrating cross functional and cross-agency teams to ensure project metrics are met on time and on-budget
  • Ensuring all projects meet the Diageo Ireland expectations:
  • Impact: Our projects deliver business outcomes in terms of brand equity, recruitment, share gains or margin enhancement.
  • Fame: Making our brands the most talked about and resonant in culture
  • Local relevance: Ensuring Irish consumers are at the centre of all of our plans, challenging and adapting global drivers to deliver.
  • Creative Flair: We create work that stops consumers and is recognised globally
  • Learning: No project is over until we have learned from it and shared the takeaways

  • Driving marketing performance and delivering integrated execution: Develops and leads compelling briefs on new-to-market growth drivers
