About the Role
The Sales Support Analyst role sits within the Business Effectiveness function of the new DACH organization and is a key support function for market executional performance ensuring the smooth functioning of commercial tools and processes. The role will work in close collaboration with the Product Owner and Commercial Performance Managers.
Top Accountabilities
- Ensure consistency of commercial data in systems.
- Consolidate information from different sources to aid tracking and analysis of commercial performance and results.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the commercial processes, related to data and performance.
- Ensure transparency of all system and process issues encountered in the day-to-day operations of the sales team working with the Commercial Performance Manager to address those and guarantee continuous improvements.
- Act as a guide on sales processes and information for transformation projects.
- Ensure accurate functioning of commercial tools and processes (EDGE, CPD, Trax, Contract Management)
- Serve as the point of contact for sales representatives' inquiries about commercial tools.
- Ensure all products are accurately and timely reflected and up to date in EDGE and TRAX by monitoring and coordinating the end-to-end process and collaborating with the data teams in India.
- Create and manage ad hoc reports requested by market leads.
Consolidate system and process issues for continuous improvement:
- Lead the Sales Desk tickets, consolidating all commercial issues into one single tracker.
- Raise tickets to respective teams within Service Now or respective solution.
- Consolidate and document system issues, working with Product Owners and Commercial Operations Managers and be proactive bringing a solution-orientated approach to sourcing the root cause.
- Analyze tickets and inquiries to uncover recurring issues, knowledge gaps, or system improvement opportunities.
- Highlight missing or inaccurate data points in commercial tools, presenting findings to partners in a constructive manner.
Take ownership for commercial processes within systems:
- Create and update material on managing internal processes of BAU system management.
- Give input for process reviews and improvements based on day-to-day opportunities identified in the role.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to feed into the enhancement requirements for tools and processes based on insights from day-to-day tickets and operations from commercial teams.
- Support with the creation and maintenance of a knowledge repository for efficient resolution of common queries.
The end outcome of this is to ensure efficient commercial operations growing the time spent of the sales team with customers and valuable activities by minimizing the time sales teams spend on tool-related challenges. This includes delivering clear, actionable insights into system performance to drive continuous improvements, enhancing training programs to address recurring knowledge gaps and improve system adoption.
About you
- Commercial experience in Merchandising, Field Sales, Distribution management, or support positions to the commercial organisation
- Experience with performance tracking and managing large sets of data
- Detail oriented, creative, and flexible that allows to find the best solution for improving processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Good analytical skills to enable collaborators to find opportunities.
- Organised and able to prioritise high workload.
- Able to build and sustain excellent relationships with multiple partners.
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Fluency in English and German
