You possess excellent analytical skills and have experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that all quality processes are adhered to throughout the production site. Responsibilities and Deliverables:

This role carries the main responsibility for the site to implement and maintain end to end quality systems, which include but are not limited to the following areas: Quality (for example ISO 9001:2015), Food Safety (for example FSSC 22000), Safety (for example ISO 45001), Kosher, Environmental (for example ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Change Management (legislation, risk control measures, corrective and preventive action plans, audits). Subsequently, this role:

  • Maintains the abovementioned systems and ensures that the different departments within the site correctly perform within these systems
  • Is responsible to implement and maintain the documentation and record system and ensuring this remains up to date through training and auditing
  • Ensures systems are in place and properly used, through which it is ensured that the site is aligned with regulatory requirements and Diageo's policies, standards and programs in Quality, but also other areas such as Safety, Health and environment.
  • Develops, coordinates and completes internal and external program audits by both internal employees and external agencies, ensuring there are sufficient and well trained internal auditors for all areas. In addition, audits and records compliance to abovementioned requirements, policies, standards and programs, and escales when departments are not performing as required.
  • Provides follow-up and support on performance indicators of the Integrated Management System, both locally and globally
  • Provides training on the integrated management systems and underlying processes, procedures and policies
  • Supports identification and assessment of risks and hazards related to these end to end systems and develops control plans to mitigate these
  • Support site leadership in the establishment of a pro-active culture of continuous improvement and compliance
  • Ensure that each department (operational departments, Quality department, SHE department) 1) takes full accountability in their responsibility within the different systems and 2) fully delivers the required performance and improvements
  • Contributes to achieving the Quality, Food safety, safety, environmental and occupational health objectes, aligned with other departmental goals
  • Ensures audit actions are supervised and closed by the action holders on time
  • Collect, monitor and analyse audit data from the site and identify areas for improvement to create improvement projects
  • Is responsible to continuously verify progress with the other sites within the category to ensure standardization and copying standard methodologies with pride.
  • Roll out programs and actions on site that are designed centrally by the category Quality systems manager, Governance and She manager or other relevant departments.


Scope
  • Implementation, management and maintenance of the end to end management (quality systems) on the site. This however does not mean full responsibility for the contents and compliance to these systems, which falls under the relevant site departments (operational departments, quality department, asset care department and SHE department).
  • From raw material intake to finished product and utilities. Supports the ON SITE logistics / warehousing operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Food Chemistry/Engineering, QFB, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Biology
  • Experience as lead auditor with a focus on Quality (ISO 9001:2015), Food Safety (FSSC 22000), Kosher (preferably supported by certification). Experience with Safety (ISO 45001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) is a plus.
  • Experience in shop floor awareness campaigns for operational staff on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with (indirect) people management
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs. Familiarity with additional software such as Power BI and Super CEP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in generating graphs and reports
  • Knowledge in statistical techniques, Pareto, 80/20, loss tree and problem solving is a plus
  • Strong track record in teamwork, openness, flexibility, listening, follow-up and decision making
  • Self-directed, results oriented and good interpersonal communications skills
  • Language requirements:
  • Spanish: sophisticated proficiency in speaking, reading and writing
  • English: business proficiency in speaking, reading and writing - required to interpret work instructions, standards, policies and international rules and regulations. In addition needs to engage with international teams and regulatory bodies.
