The D&T Finance Team is responsible for the end-to-end financial management of D&T, covering a c. $500M annual spend across IT running costs (BAU) and IT portfolio (projects) investment and Project Governance.
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide independent oversight of D&T enabled projects to support on track delivery of committed business outcomes/key landmarks
• Ensure projects are set up effectively for success, in line with PACE governance and procedure requirements (plans, budget, resource, governance approach) with clear steering group accountabilities/risk management/benefit tracking
• Understand cross-project interdependencies, identify risks and issues

• Support Project delivery teams from a functional perspective
• Support with development and implementation of project compliance simplification initiatives.
• Know when to intervene/course accurate/bring up if a project is off-track
• Provide project governance and PACE standard mentorship, mentoring support to customer groups within D&T project management community
• Support PMO with crafting and implementing protocol Project Governance methods, tools and training
Qualifications and Experience Required
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in project environment
• Proven track record to optimally and govern sophisticated projects based on project methodology including Agile
• Deep understanding of project governance methodology (PACE) or similar and compliance requirements for project delivery
• Work experience in business process, solutions and global business operations
• Strong influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective participant relationships across all levels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, generate ideas, support decision making and find solutions to business issues.
• Maintains a well-rounded business perspective including financial, commercial, risk, compliance requirements and impacts
• Experience of working across multiple locations and with diverse cultures
