About the role

We operate Guinness packaging facilities at Marshalls Road in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Runcorn, in Northwest England, packaging canned, bottled and kegged product for Ireland, the UK and export markets.

This role is site based at Diageo's east Belfast packaging facility is a 12-acre site running a 24/7 operation and is supplied with beer from St James Gate brought to the site in bulk tankers, which each hold up to 30,000 litres of beer. The site packages over 20 brands, including Guinness Draught, Extra Stout and Foreign Extra Stout, Harp, Hop House 13, Smithwick's and Rockshore.

As the Program Deployment Coordinator, you'll be responsible for preparing the site for the deployment of our new connected worker platform (Zaptic). Working with the Digital & Transformation team, you'll be configuring the Autonomous Maintenance standards and structure within the platform and engaging the site operations team to effectively use the platform as we move our paper-based system into a digital system.

Responsibilities include:
  • Engaging the Zaptic and Digital Transformation teams with the project deployment plan
  • Responsible for using the Zaptic Monday deployment plan to guide the steps and activity to a successful phased deployment of the Zaptic platform through:
  • Supporting the adoption of the platform through Super Users so it becomes BAU on completion of the first 3 phases
  • Support BAU with best practice share and further development within Zaptic to meet value add opportunities highlighted by the operations team
  • Accountable for the operational handover to the Zaptic continuous support team


About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience of working in an FMCG manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working with connected worker platform apps (Zaptic preferential)
  • Track record of excellent engagement and communication skills
  • Knowledge of collaborator awareness and escalation processes
  • A proven track record in adherence to core process and standards
