Purpose

The Process Analyst Invoicing acts as a point of contact for the markets and key suppliers in regard to any STP issues and works closely with the AP Manager and the management of the department, as well as with our key collaborators to ensure processes, ways of working and service level agreements are delivered against, issues are proactively picked up and resolved by the team.

This role is essential in the delivery of an excellent customer experience and providing accurate and efficient responses within the targeted service level agreement.

Accountabilities
  • Acting as a point of contact for the markets for STP functional issues related to SAP and Coupa.
  • Posting Invoice LAC
  • Responsible for reviewing the correct application of APSME area controls and custodian of them in all areas of STP.
  • Build active and positive relationships with users and Procurement collaborators.
  • Provide support that facilitates the accurate, efficient, and timely setup and approval of purchase orders
  • Ensure all queries are resolved promptly or channeled appropriately and courteously by the team through either personal intervention or liaison with shared services and/or market.

  • Support regular discussions with the key suppliers and markets to enable proactive issue resolution with the STP Market Champions, FC/FDs to review issue resolution status and progress
  • Build an active and positive relationship with key suppliers, collaborators, and the procurement area.
  • Develop talent across the teams and handle people's performance
  • Handle, assess, and develop a high-performing team to consistently achieve critical metrics.
  • Strengthen positive relationships with their key Procurement collaborators.
  • Share standard methodologies across markets to ensure continuous quality and to create possibilities for improvement.
  • Enable the standardization and automation agenda for the Tower in own area
  • Partner with other parts of the Tower (Invoice Processing, Tactical Procurement, Payment process, SSH, and Governance Teams).

Qualifications / experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree such as, but not limited to, BCom, BBA, BBM. Desirable Accountant or Financial studies.
  • Finance course Certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English

Experience
  • 1-3 years of in Procurement, Accounts Payable,
  • Knowledge in Accounting and Finance.
  • Confirmed experience in ERP / SAP.
  • Strong and visible leadership.
  • Confirmed experience of building, developing, and sustaining relationships with key collaborators
  • Internal controls awareness
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Able to work proactively and optimally in cross functional and distributed team at all levels in an organization
  • Highly structured individual, with strong leadership, influencing and communication skills.

  • Accountable for the management and development of the Supplier Specialist & STP Market Advisor team within agreed timelines and to agreed SLA's.
  • Accountable for ensuring the Supplier Specialist & STP Market Advisor team's ways of working are aligned with Diageo's policies.
  • Support STP leadership team to ensure achievements and objectives are always met.
