About This Role

We're looking for a Team Lead to join our packaging operations at Baileys, Nangor Road. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll drive the efficiency of a busy production line and lead your team to deliver outstanding results - safely and to the highest standards.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our teams are motivated, challenged, and proud of their achievements. If you're passionate about leading people, committed to excellence, and thrive in a fast-paced environment - we'd love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading your team on the floor daily to meet production targets.
  • Ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently achieved.
  • Driving continuous improvement with bold action planning and delivery.
  • Developing your team through coaching, recognizing great performance, and addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Utilising visual management tools and daily routines to keep the team focused and accountable.


To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Solid management experience in a manufacturing or production environment - you'll have directly led teams, not just supported them
  • A strong track record of managing performance and developing team capability through coaching and support
  • Proactive structured problem evaluation and resolving issues quickly learnt through exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or Manufacturing excellence
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence across different teams and functions
  • A continuous improvement mindset - always looking for better ways of working and encouraging others to do the same
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern (no night shifts)

Shift Pattern and Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating shift schedule with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM and 3 PM to midnight. You'll work an average of 38 hours per week across the year, with shifts adjusted during peak times to meet demand. During quieter periods, you'll typically have Fridays off to support a better work-life balance.
