About the Role

This role will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial team by building OnePlan volume planning by CPG and SKU. The primary responsibility will be to analyse the statistical forecast, market trends, historical data, and customer demand to develop accurate demand forecasts. Additionally, will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, and demand planning) to identify gaps between current performance and ambitious targets, ensuring alignment between demand and finance planning team.

Main responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop accurate and comprehensive OnePlan volume by CPG and product.
  • Collaborate closely with the Building Blocks owner to ensure alignment the volume is adding properly in OnePlan
  • Apply historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to enhance OnePlan forecasting accuracy.
  • Work closely with Sales, finance, marketing, demand planning teams to gather insights and understand market dynamics.
  • Support the commercial team identifying gaps between current OnePlan demand forecasts and NE ambition.
  • Collaborate with commercial, finance and marketing to understand the root causes of gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Regularly review and update gap analyses to ensure alignment with changing business conditions.
  • Proactively find opportunities for OnePlan processes improvement and optimization within the demand planning function.
  • Support NE to build Building Block approach.
  • Collaborate closely with the Demand Planning team and Commercial Finance teams to verify the accuracy of data in OnePlan.
  • Support the disaggregation team to ensure split by customer is aligned with the current trend.
  • Support the Sales Forecast Accuracy enhancement by customer and product.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS) is a plus.

Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, data analytics or a related role within the CPG.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel and PBI.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
