Note: this is a fixed-term-contract role for 6-9 months

About the role:

The Market Specialist with an On & Off Premise focus is responsible for driving sales growth and brand presence in all key and target accounts. This role involves developing strong relationships with venue owners and managers, executing promotional activities, and ensuring effective merchandising of Diageo Non-Alcohol brands (DNAB).

Financial/People Leadership:

The Market Specialists do not have direct reports although manage distributor accountability.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in all channels.

• Identify opportunities to increase product distribution and visibility in key accounts.

• Execute sales plans that align with overall brand objectives with distributor management partnership.

• Distributor execution management through ride alongs and market visits.

• Works towards driving Sales Metrics KPIs for excellence in execution

• Educates and builds key relationships with bartenders and front line representation of the brand.

• Ensure compliance all relevant regulations/company policies all activities

• Maintain accurate records/documentation related on-premise activations/results

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for their respective local market.

Experience / skills required:

• Ability to engage, influence and coordinate wholesalers and distributors.

• Self-starter with strong ability to influence with data and fact-based selling strategies.

• 3+ Years working in sales or trade management; on-premise expertise and focus highly preferred.

• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives with excellent time management skills; ability prioritize tasks meet deadline
