About the Role
As a Brand Ambassador you are the personification of Diageo's ambition: to become the best-performing, most-trusted consumer goods company in the world and to build category-leading partnerships with industry-leading outlets.
You possess a strong knowledge of brand and production processes and you will bring forward the history, heritage and vibrancy of the luxury brand you represent. You are well-connected within the Swiss bartending and gastronomy scene, you know the Whisky Specialist Store spirits industry as well as retail businesses, and you have a proven track record of building brands in this trend-leading space.
We are looking for someone with a high affinity for the luxury industry and an in-depth understanding of its consumer and how to engage with them.
Top Accountabilities
- Become the point of contact for our trend-leading and premium business partners in your region.
- Nurture relationships with the On Trade outlets, mainly in the 5 Star Luxury Hotel segment, high end mixology bars, and well selected GaultMillau restaurants for the regions Basel & St.Moritz.
- Develop training programs, tastings and create brand awareness at scale in a consultative way by closely working with the commercial team in the region.
- Translate social events and promotion activities into content creation for your social media platforms, always respecting the Swiss law.
- Lead national and international initiatives like the World Class competition and act as a consultant to the cocktail and bartending community.
- Generate luxury content of pre-defined events, which will be shared across Diageo's and social media channels in order to create further brand awareness.
- Together with our customers you create brilliant luxury experiences for our luxury consumers through best-in-class presentations of our portfolio.
About You:
- 3+ years proven experience, in top accounts as bar manager, owner, bartender or manager
- Strong communication skill, internally and externally, verbal and written
- Outstanding project management, creativity and innovative thinking linked to specific business opportunities
- Good understanding of industry trends, social influences, business drivers
- Understanding of mixology, a passion for spirits, ability to deliver strong execution and engage with customers/consumers and other relevant partners
- Open to regular travel
