The role forms part of Global Learning & Inclusion, one of Global HR's centres of excellence, alongside a team compromising of Learning Performance Leads, Programme Specialists, Design Specialists, Analytics & Learning Operations.These teams collaborate efficiently in supporting & equipping business to build the knowledge, skills, mindset, and confidence to deliver on core and emerging priorities, to enable the shifts needed to accelerate delivery of our Growth Ambition and goals

About the role:

The Learning Programme Specialist plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering innovative learning solutions linked to our biggest strategic priorities. It is designed to be agile in nature and delivery.

Dimensions:

a) Financial: Manage of spend against approved budget limits - by project.

b) Complexities: This role collaborates with both internal stakeholders and external partners to enable our learning programmes and solutions address the diverse capability needs of our global workforce and drive measurable performance improvements.

c) Leadership Responsibilities and Decision- Making Rights:

Adaptable and flexible to meet changing business priorities, supporting strategic priorities where additional expertise, capacity and brilliant execution is needed at a point in time.

Learning Programme Specialists will work across different strategic projects, gaining depth of experience across specific disciplines. Depending on the size of the project, this may mean working 1-2 or multiple projects across the year.

Accountabilities:

Needs Analysis and Learning Outcome Definition:

Proactively supports LPLs (Learning Performance Leads), business stakeholders, and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to:

  • Understand learning needs and performance gaps across various audiences (functional, technical, leadership, professional) on specific and assigned priorities.
  • Define clear and measurable learning outcomes aligned with business priorities, aligned to our growth ambition, and learner needs.
  • Brings external curiosity, best in class approaches and insights to help define key priorities and programmes


Learning Solution Design and Development:
  • Supports the coordination and development of innovative and best-in-class learning interventions and programmes, end-to-end, methodologies, and designs (e.g., V/ILT, e-learning, blended learning, assessments) based on identified needs - business and learners'
  • Develop robust project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and vendor selection (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with Learning Design Specialists, and where appropriate, vendors, to create engaging and effective learning content and materials.


Project Management and Implementation:
  • As needed, leads cross-functional project teams, including SMEs, Learning Design Specialists, Analytics Specialists, Learning Operations team members, and vendors - to ensure timely and successful project implementation, within budget and defined standards.
  • Supports LPLs with stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.


Communication and Engagement:
  • Responsible for developing & deploying communication and engagement plans that support the success of our strategic learning programme(s).
  • Perform the writing, editing, design and delivery of communications materials - to be customised in partnership with appropriate SMEs (HR, CR, business), that are suitable for omnichannel delivery e.g. Viva Engage, Teams, Zoom, email, newsletters etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (GFHR, markets, functions) on priority project(s) to improve awareness, understanding, participation, and overall engagement with the programme(s).


Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
  • In partnership with Learning Analytics Specialists, define evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning programmes.
  • For more complex data and analytics requirements works with Learning Analytics Specialist (data from multiple sources, predictive analytics etc)
  • Using insights, measures engagement of learning programmes and looks for opportunities to enhance and continuously improve.
  • Stay abreast of emerging external learning technologies, methodologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance learning solutions.


Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Preferred experience of designing and implementing successful learning pathways and programmes
  • End to end project management experience, with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of working with data from multiple sources and insight to provide recommendations
  • Working knowledge of change management principles and practices, together with experience of proactively navigating change in the workplace.
