What will your role be?

Join our dynamic commercial team as we seek an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in driving performance objectives within our agency channel-a thriving business unit with significant growth potential. Reporting directly to the Business Manager - Agency, this position is crucial in executing the agency's NSV/GP plan, encompassing the entire Diageo portfolio of Spirits and Ready-to-Drink (RTD) products across the South Pacific with Tradewinds, as well as Domestic Airline Travel. This hybrid role blends commercial focus with category and shopper responsibilities. Success in this position hinges on cross-functional collaboration with finance, shopper insights, marketing, and innovation teams to unlock new opportunities and drive excellence.

This is a 6-month FTC opportunity

What does this role look like for you?

  • Performance Analysis: Continuously track and analyze performance metrics, providing clarity on key drivers and recommending course corrections to optimize outcomes. Enhance Diageo brand exposure and NSV through tailored account-specific initiatives.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with partners to build customer business plans together, recognizing competitor and category trends in relevant markets. Manage innovation projects collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and partners to drive growth.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead demand planning and supply forecasting efforts to ensure seamless operations and meet market demands effectively.
  • Commercial Acumen: Apply strong account management skills to interpret core financial data, develop M&E analysis, and generate actionable business insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Influence & Communication: Communicate effectively with key internal partners to gain support, unlock opportunities, and influence partners. Serve as a conduit between partners and internal shopper/marketing teams to optimize brand plans and enhance A&P spend.


What will you bring to the table?
  • Commercial awareness with experience in customer facing roles
  • Experience of generating consumer/shopper, customer and market insights and applying that understanding to drive growth with customers
  • Strong analytical ability and experience in using relevant data, (Aztec preferred).
  • Able to create customer communications & commercial rationales
  • Ability to think both conceptually and practically - backed up with genuine desire to get results and make a difference with customers and innovate change at point of purchase
  • Great project management skills
  • Self-motivated, responsive and tenacious
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams
