About the Role - HSE Specialist (Contractor)
We're looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Diageo Turkey's Head Office & Demand Organization in Istanbul, on a contractor basis.
The HSE Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, execution, auditing, and continuous improvement of HSE systems in accordance with legal requirements and Diageo global standards across sales offices and HQ activities.
Please note: This is a contractor position. The contract duration will be shared during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and Diageo GRMS standards at demand sales offices and HQ.
- Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 documentation (via QDMS system).
- Conduct audits (GRMS & SFIP), report findings, and follow up on action completion.
- Support risk assessments and deliver HSE trainings across offices.
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and support corrective actions.
- Ensure alignment with occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Support and track HSE and sustainability initiatives to meet 2030 goals.
- Report and analyze HSE KPIs and recommend improvements.
- Execute additional HSE and environmental responsibilities as needed.

Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Minimum Class C Occupational Safety Expert Certificate.
- Environmental Officer Certificate.
- At least 2 years of HSE experience in the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in English and Turkish (written & spoken).
- MS Office proficiency.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High resilience, agility, and teamwork.
- B-Class driver's license and willingness to travel.
