About the Function

The Financial Control function takes ownership for the classification, consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks.

About the role

Join our dynamic team as an FP&A Senior Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role as a key business partner to our North America teams. You will be the first point of contact for any issues, while also supporting the broader controlling process agenda. This is an exciting chance to define a significant impact in a global organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with Senior Partners: Independently interact with senior partners both in the market and at our Shared Services Center in Bangalore.
  • Lead Month-End Closings: Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closings, including accrual calculations and journal entry preparation.
  • Support Planning and Forecasting: Assist with planning and O&R forecasting to help guide business decisions.
  • Analyze Financial Data: Examine spending (actuals vs. plan), identify actionable insights, and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure Compliance: Lead controls and compliance, suggest improvements, and follow up on implementation.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Build financial reports and presentation materials, and lead meetings with senior partners.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various teams to ensure efficient budget management systems are in place and functioning well.
  • Drive Operational Improvements: Proactively identify, design, and implement operational improvements to drive standardization, simplification, and automation-‘Act like an Owner'.

About You
  • University or College degree in Finance and Accountancy / Economics / Business
  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Controlling or FP&A
  • Excellent Business English knowledge
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Good communication and business partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
