With the growth of ecommerce and digital channels, the traditional point of purchase has been completely re-invented, making brands and businesses develop new ways of winning at the digital shelf while developing a deep understanding of the new digital shoppers, their motivations, purchase habits and behaviors. Traditional brick-and-mortar retailers are facing tough competition from online stores, with e-commerce sales growing at a much faster rate than in-store sales, they are focus in develop digital shopper experience, omnichannel experiences and profitability of online channels.

You will report to the Ecommerce Sr Manager and you will be responsible for the development, digital sales results, execution of the digital trade strategy and execution of Retail Media helping commercially teams to increase sales and helping marketing teams to build and communicate Diageo´s brands. You will be a transformation agent between Sales, Trade, Mkt and Digital teams, working with KAMs and clients from very strategic high level commercial strategy and joined up Customer Plans, to the day to day execution of the digital and ecommerce actions we plan to drive growth at these clients.

You will work ruthlessly on developing our digital experiences, upgrade the e-commerce experience creating new and breakthrough ideas that help us develop this channel, while ensuring our brands are always winning throughout the consumer journey and ending in an amazing online purchase experience. Your role is expected to have a big impact on the digital business performance, while also on the education, evangelization, innovation and development of our partnerships to ensure we all grow together, hand by hand with our clients.

About the role

  • The SSS & Quickcommerce eCommerce Manager will implement the channel plan for Delivery Apps and Self Service stores, supporting the execution of all activities, ensuring brilliant execution to deliver our key targets: Quality Market Share, Sell Out, Strengthen Commercial Execution in customers, ROAS and Digital Shelf indicators.

    This role will directly partner with several key internal and external partners, to build targeted growth plans, activate our brands digitally and assess the data to measure results and contribute to a broader channel and category insights.


  • Accountabilities
  • Lead the transformation of modern trade SSS customers within eCommerce, and delivery apps such as Rappi and Uber.
  • Meet e-commerce sales targets for these clients & present a case for the efficient use of investment & resources.
  • Lead the development of the category to build a "best-in-class" execution and shopping experience in eCommerce.
  • Developing and implementing innovative product / category Retail Media according to the different online shopping missions and brand objectives.
  • Co-creating with top performer platforms a new cross category shopping experience for Spirits.
  • This role will lead the execution of brand plans or category platforms on digital platforms including planning, follow up and measurement, always looking for transactional results.


  • Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the agencies (performance media, creative & trade) the Ecommerce campaigns and ensure on time and full execution & request performance reports to understand and suggest improvements in future activities.
  • Define tactical activities and follow up on commercial calendar within all platforms focusing on own partner's media.
  • Plan, implement and measure results for online trade marketing calendar, working together with agencies and platforms.
  • Handle investment budget on digital platforms looking forward to meeting Sell Out, NSV and market share goals.
  • You inspire others with your sharp understanding of our the customer, channel way of working and market and consumer trends in order to develop a winning channel and customer strategy
  • Lead the Measurement & Evaluation of all digital actions on these clients, guiding the teams on the correct budget allocation where we improve return and value for the clients and consumers.
  • Provide the commercial teams with insights, tools, resources and ideas to improve the value we get from growing the digital business with our clients, while developing a competitive advantage delivering value to customers "only Diageo could do"
  • Capabilities


  • Analytical skills as you will work directly with omnichannel sales & budget allocation.
  • Knowledge of basic Digital Marketing indicators
  • Ability to evaluate and optimize digital indicators such as impressions, CTR, CR, Open Rate, ROAs, etc.
  • Have effective communication and social skills to work with teams and customers Interest in market, ecommerce & digital trends.
  • Ability to work with digital platforms such as Google Analytics & Meta Business Support in promotional grids and client's digital sophistication Securing and negotiating online visibility within client's digital platforms.
  • Experience working with retailers platforms (Criteo, Madrid, Artus, etc..)
  • Dedication, drive and determination to accomplish targets.
  • Own execution to deliver actions and results on time in full.
  • Self motivated and find inner aim to pursuit new opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and project management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, curious, creative, tenacious with commercial drive and digital curiosity.


  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Digital or Ecommerce experience with at least 2 years working with or at retailers.
  • E-commerce experience with transactional responsibilities or online trade marketing development.
  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in Business/Marketing/Engineering

    Transformation & Education experience at CPG or similar companies.

    Information management and analytical skills
  • Finance knowledge (P&L, Measurement & Evaluation, etc.)
  • English advanced (90%).
