Role Responsibilities:
The Demand Planning and IBP Transformation Lead is responsible for driving S&OP process improvement in EE in alignment with Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Supply team and EE distributor on top of end-to-end forecasting activities for countries assigned. You will lead and drive a collaborative S&OP process with internal partners and external partners.
Top Accountabilities
- Engage EE distributors in joint demand planning and build partner capability roadmap and matrix.
- Communicate critical forecast changes and supply constraints to partners in the Supply Chain, Sales and Finance teams.
- Aggregate forecast on EE level and lead a regular process of forecast review with the multifunctional team based on FA & Bias.
- Implement and own S&OP cycle in Beer category.
- Lead Demand planning segmentation work across EE portfolio as part of Operating Strategy
For the countries assigned manage Demand Planning and IBP processes as per below:
- Generate base line statistical demand forecast for at least 18 months rolling.
- Use and maintain the APO software as the primary forecasting system tool
- Continuously improve statistical forecasting method: Test and implement new models, implement standard processes, support system developments.
- Facilitate the S&OP process in the countries assigned
- Lead the generation, alignment and consensus of the 18-month rolling demand plan on SKU/depot level monthly buckets in support of the S&OP process.
- Challenge the O&R projected growth assumptions based on historical trends where necessary..
- Generate 18 month Consensus Demand Plan
- Communicate critical forecast changes and supply constraints to partners in the Supply Chain, Sales and Finance teams
- Collaborate with Demand Planners to conduct root cause analysis to identify drivers of forecast error and work together to take the vital corrective action to drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and bias performance.
- Ensure scenario planning for significant events in market (duty changes, customer activities, economic conditions changes, etc.).
Skills and Capabilities
- Understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and/or forecasting methodologies with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
- Good communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
- Proficient in MS applications e.g. Excel, SAP BW, Power BI,
- Strong influencing and partner engagement skills; able to manage multiply customers across functions and geographies
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills - verbal, written and presentation.
- Experience in SAP APO will be highly valued
ABOUT YOU
- 4+ years Supply Chain planning experience (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning), including significant experience managing S&OP process.
- Finance roles would also be considered.
- Wider cross-functional experience preferable e.g. Commercial, Finance or Supply.
- Prior experience leading and embedding S&OP standard process ways of working
- High degree of quantitative and analytical skills.
- Degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, mathematical, engineering, or business degree.
