About the Role

As a key interface between Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, Tax & 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) & 3rd Party Operations (TPO) partners and the wider Supply Chain & Procurement organisation (e.g. MSO's). The Customer Supply Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering day-to-day excellence in inventory control, inbounds and customer service.

This role is central to driving service standards in line with our ambition to be a Top 3 CPG company. Responsible for managing the end-to-end replenishment process for both promotional and non-promotional reworked products, this role ensures that consumer and customer objectives are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsible for working with primary logistics teams from all sourcing locations to assure the seamless inbounds of goods into the local warehouse.

Additionally, the role oversees stock control and the book-2-book alignment between Diageo SAP and 3PL WMS systems and the allocation of limited time offer products, ensuring the fair and accurate distribution of agreed quantities to customers while maintaining high service levels.

Acting as a vital link between Diageo's demand side and our 3PL providers, this role ensures seamless coordination and execution across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Imports & inbounds follow up & tracking: Responsible of coordinating with primary logistics, customs and the 3PL teams, the transport of goods from the production plants to the in country warehouse. Assuring it works seamlessly in the agreed lead times and with all the required paperwork. Daily tracking of incoming trucks / containers and coordination of unloading between the carriers and the 3PL.
  • Inventory control & reconciliation: Responsible to stock control and the book-2-book alignment between Diageo SAP and 3PL WMS systems. Ensuring that all material movements are tracked in an effective and efficient manner and report availability to the Customer service team.
  • Local Rework operations: Plan and schedule reworks with 3PL, considering demand volatility, lead times, repacking capacity, and inventory targets, while supporting the development of vendor capacity and competence. This required very close coordination with Demand Planners, Commercial, Marketing and Customer Marketing. Planning and ordering of the Dry goods that are used for the local reworks (e.g. labels & cartons).
  • Local Production coordination (potential future responsibility): weekly coordination of the local production plan with the local copacker.
  • Service levels monitoring and reconciliation for top customers: work with Planning, Customer Service and Logistics to monitor and improve the service performance for the TOP customers.
  • Own and manage the product allocation process for limited time offers, being the key link between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Planning to ensure fair distribution and high service levels.
  • Document ways of working in standard operating procedures and review them at least yearly to keep them updated with the latest improvements.

About You
  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain/Planning/ Logistics/ Operations or related areas
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes: planning, replenishment, MTO, manufacturing, materials, and service supply
  • Knowledge of inventory management, key inventory performance metrics, management of 3rd party manufacturing and production scheduling
  • Strong communication and influencing skills balancing challenge and support to others and a proven track record in influencing people to provide the level of service required
  • Good understanding of market and customer requirements
  • Understanding of ‘in -country' legislation for the movement of goods
  • Demonstrated strong analytical approach to problem solving that generates cost-effective and commercially viable solutions taking into consideration company targets and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated accurate and structured approach to meeting goals /KPIs
