Reports To: Customer Marketing Director, West and Central Africa

Location: Lagos

Purpose of Role:

Partner with the teams and partners to implement the development and execution of customer-centric marketing plans that align with Diageo's strategic objectives.

Coordinate communication, track performance metrics, and ensure alignment across all activities to achieve key performance indicators (critical metrics).

Role Responsibilities:

Activities Planning:
  • Develop an activity master calendar on a quarterly basis.
  • Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to execute activities as per plan.

Activation Execution:
  • Track pre and post-M&E approvals for the Customer Marketing department
  • Manage activities calendar ensuring timely rollout.

Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor & track executions weekly/monthly/quarterly from both internal/external perspectives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and shopper behavior to identify opportunities for growth

Communication Leadership:
  • Showcase best practice and customer marketing wins internally and externally

Evaluation & Insights:
  • Evaluate sales & marketing activity effectiveness regularly.
  • Conduct post-activation evaluations to assess the impact on sales, brand visibility, and customer engagement.


Experience / skills required:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales planning or customer/trade marketing within FMCG industry or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
