As the Customer Business Manager - RTD within the Endeavour Group Ltd (EGL) team, you will be focused on building a profitable share winning growth strategy to grow our brands in the highly competitive alcoholic beverages Spirits Category within one of our key retailers. This will need to be done in partnership with the Endeavour Drunks Group to deliver growth in line with their objectives.
So, what does this role look like for you?
- Lead the development and negotiation the category strategy for RTD with this key customer group in order to develop our robust financial commitments.
- Ensure the achievement of the full year financial objectives by ensuring all key deliverables are being monitored and shortfalls addressed. These accounts have a major impact on the ability of the total business to achieve full year objectives.
- Lead the execution and evaluation on agreed strategic initiatives with the Customer; leadership of negotiation of investment packages and execution standards with customer.
- Champion the EDG customer group cross and intra functionally to share insights and learnings across the business and work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Shopper and Category) to ensure our goals and objectives are met within the customer.
- Drive cross functional and commercial peer engagement with consistency and collaboration, including category, shopper marketing, innovation and across the broader commercial team.
- Lead the S&OP process for the premix portfolio, working closely with the demand team in order to ensure a high level of accuracy.
- Lead the promotional program setting the direction and driving high standards with the National Account Manager RTD.
What will you bring to the table?
- Established experience in promotions, account management or key account management, within an FMCG or Liquor environment;
- Well developed analytical capability, with the ability to drive data into practical insights;
- Ability and experience to manage a P&L and a customer P&L.
- Experience in negotiating with customers, understanding their needs vs. the needs of Diageo.
- Experience in setting direction and managing deliverables through team members setting high standards of performance expectations.
- Capable in managing & influencing multiple dependent collaborators internally and externally, backed by solid and authentic relationship building and interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment and act quickly to capitalise on opportunities.
