Role Overview

The Commercial Analyst will play a critical role in driving commercial performance by providing actionable insights, robust analysis, and clear recommendations to support decision-making. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams, you will help identify growth opportunities, optimise execution, and ensure the effective implementation of commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Analysis
    • Monitor and analyse coverage, in-store-execution, competitors, and performance across brands, channels, and customers.
    • Translate complex data into clear insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
    • Unlock impactful dashboards in the field to sales organization.
    • Help visualize and interpret trends in wholesaler and outlet performance for key partners.
    • Provide regular performance dashboards and reports to senior stakeholders for weekly and monthly reviews.
  • Governance & Data quality
    • Support the cleansing, transformation, and validation of sales and distribution data.
    • Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to track integration progress and data quality metrics.
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to support the development of outlet segmentation logic.
    • Maintain documentation related to data definitions, sources, and transformation rules.
    • Assist with testing and validation of new data pipelines and segmentation models.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to align insights with business priorities.
    • Help prepare materials for stakeholder presentations and status updates.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on impact on reporting solution from new technology (e.g. new future sales tools, etc.)


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in commercial analysis, business intelligence, finance, or a similar role (FMCG or beverages experience desirable).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Commercial approach with ability to connect data to business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence partners.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
