Our Global Business Operations (GBO) team are facilitators, providing strategic, financial, and business services that are essential to the day-to-day performance of our business. With a team of over 2,000 dedicated and passionate people supporting 21 markets across the world, we have offices in Bangalore, Budapest, Bogota, and Manila.

OTC deals with some 25.000 customers resulting in some 400.000 orders and collection of around 9 billion GBP an annual base.

Cash Cycle is also interacting with some 55.000 vendors treating some 550.000 invoices per year.

About the role

The creation of the Diageo France IMC represents a significant expansion of Diageo's commercial footprint in France, encompassing both the Off Trade (retailers, distributors, cash & carry, cavistes) and On Trade (hotels, restaurants, bars) channels.

As Diageo France IMC grows, there will be an increase in customer accounts, promotions, and market initiatives, leading to a higher volume of administrative and operational tasks.

CE Credit Control Team Leader is the Commercial Experience Service Delivery (Junior) Manager's first support and backup, their main task is to deliver the services requested by the markets and the targets agreed, has various line management, reporting and analytical tasks, is responsible for handling, co-ordinating, training, developing, motivating the team and being a role model for them, and responsible for managing the various customers within the geographic region his / her team is responsible for.

  • Leading a team to perform extraordinary debtor management
  • Deeply understanding of customers' and markets' needs and fully support successful business operation within own area
  • Improve cash collection to term
  • Building positive relationship with partners, customers, finance and commercial functions
  • Reporting towards key customers with deep insight generation and early risk flagging
  • Proactively advising management and the market where early warning signs of potential issues are seen, driving the resolution with the market partners
  • Crisis management in peak periods if needed - mitigate the risk related to capacity and delivery issues and out of stock situations
  • Hiring, training, motivating and constantly developing the right people within their team to build an excellent, high performing team with a robust succession plan
  • Mentoring newcomers and ensure knowledge management and retention
  • Partnering with other parts of the business - both externally and internally

  • Handling credit limit and payment term approval processes
  • Order collection from customers and between group companies
  • Driving order and invoice issue resolution with 3PLs, Sales and Supply
  • Collecting cash from customers and group companies
  • Handling, validating, and paying promotional invoices


What you will bring

  • Proficient English and French language knowledge
  • Prior experience in Credit Control
  • People management experience
  • System skills (SAP knowledge)
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong MS Office knowledge
  • Mid- and long-term planning
  • 3-4 years Commercial Experience / Finance working experience
