Assistant Manager - Shopper Insights and Market Intelligence

About this role
To analyse share performance and convert the findings to actionable insights, and champion shopper & customer understanding / insights throughout sales& marketing activities through cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing and finance etc.
You will be responsible for:
- To serve as thought partner to function / channel leaders; and provide key decision-making support to senior stakeholders
- To contribute to the development of category, portfolio & trade strategies with insights obtained through internal and external research
- To lead / drive shopper insights generation and issue / opportunity identification process for on / off-premise and key customers: 1 ) Point of contact with region / global to learn and share best practice with local team; 2) Manage research agencies for customized research project
- To enable customer marketing (CM) team to deliver shopper-based programs /plans tailored to the needs of customers and consumers :1) Draw key implications from shopper insights; 2) Ensure CM team's programs / plans capture shopper-based insights to achieve desired impact
- To inspire and embed category, portfolio & channel / customer understanding into the thinking of CM team and wider commercial organization
- To take on ad-hoc projects / tasks assigned by senior management and develop solutions and oversee implementation
- To prepare & perform monthly market information reporting to management team
- To consolidate data and be the contact window for Taiwan TNT
- Comply compliance - Responsible Research guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably with management consulting/ insight agency experience
- Consumer goods or adult beverage category experience strong plus
- Strong technical experience with advanced software skills (Nielsen - strong plus) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Strong project & time management
- Proven senior stakeholder management skills & success at driving & inspiring change
