About The Role

As an Artwork Team Leader you will be part of our Global Artwork team within Brand Change and Innovation. You'll play a key role in driving Diageo's ambition to be the most innovative, trusted and respected consumer goods company in the world.

This is a hands-on leadership role that balances coordination, continuous improvement and cross-functional partnership.

You will lead a team of Artwork Coordinators, made up of both permanent employees and contractors, ensuring seamless delivery of artwork for our global portfolio. Collaborating closely with Brand Change teams across functions and categories, you'll ensure the project pipeline is appropriately resourced and that artwork is delivered right first time contributing to critical KPIs including speed to market and on-time, in-full delivery.

If you're passionate about leading teams, driving excellence, and being part of a fast-paced, creative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver all aspects of people management, including recruitment, absence, performance, and development

  • Collaborate with Brand Change, Innovation and category teams to plan resource requirements and support project delivery

  • Lead team budgets and financial processes, including purchase orders and re-charges

  • Lead the team to scope, develop, and deliver artwork requirements, while stepping in to support during peak periods when needed

  • Drive continuous improvement through Right First-Time metrics and support broader KPIs like Speed to Market and On Time in Full

  • Ensure governance and compliance with CARM controls, always keeping the team audit ready

  • Facilitate Tier 1 improvement processes, handle resource allocation, and respond to ad hoc requests

  • Represent the artwork team in Tier meetings, manage escalations, and lead root cause problem solving for any live issues

About You

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about leading teams, building relationships, and making a real impact across our business. Ideally, you'll have a university degree or equivalent experience, with a background in FMCG being a distinct advantage.

You'll bring:

  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across a variety of functions

  • Experience in leading and developing teams in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

  • Detail orientated and strong analytical skills to support decision-making

  • An understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain and the vital role artwork plays within it

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a standout colleague who can collaborate with confidence

  • Strong IT skills and a willingness to build deep knowledge of our internal systems

It would also be beneficial if you have:

  • An existing strong network across Brand Change

  • Experience using Power BI or automation tools to enhance ways of working

  • Experience with Zen and DCH (as there may be times you'll need to step in and support artwork coordination tasks during busy periods)
